    What You Need to Sell Cosmetics in the EU

    The EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC 1223/2009) requires every cosmetic product sold in the EU to have a named Responsible Person based in the EU. This person ensures the product is safe, properly labelled, and notified on the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) before it is placed on the market. Without an EU Responsible Person, your cosmetics cannot legally be sold on Amazon EU, Shopify, or any EU marketplace.
