Drone & UAV Compliance

CE marking, C-class classification, and EU representation for drone manufacturers selling in Europe.

  • Legal Representation

Mandatory EU-based legal address for your product labels and manuals.

  • Compliance Verification

Systematic review of your technical files to ensure full adherence to EU law.

What You Need to Sell Drones in the EU

Drones sold in the EU must comply with Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945, which establishes CE marking requirements and class identification labels (C0 through C4) based on the drone weight, capabilities, and intended use category (open, specific, certified). Additionally, drones must comply with the Radio Equipment Directive (RED), EMC Directive, and increasingly with EN 18031 cybersecurity requirements. This is one of the most complex product compliance scenarios in the EU.

  • EU Market Access
  • Surveillance Liaison
  • Labeling Review
  • Regulatory Support

What We Do

We coordinate the full compliance chain for drone manufacturers. We identify which class (C0-C4) your drone falls into, determine which directives and standards apply, coordinate testing with specialist drone testing labs across Europe, compile the technical file, review the Declaration of Conformity, and serve as your EU Authorised Representative. We also handle the EN 18031 cybersecurity component where applicable.
